Here is an enamel button in a beautiful rich blue with a lovely scrolly design in brass. It is a Paris Back and has a brass loop shank. It is a recent addition to my collection. I bought it from one of my button collector friends.

Here are two modern enamelled white metal buttons both in a floral design. One is a brilliant blue with white blossom. The other is more colourful with a white rose on a red background. The blue one is slightly larger. They were made in Japan.

Here is a trio of modern enamel buttons with a geometric pattern. In reality they are much brighter and richer so are quite striking. They measure 2 cm.

Here is a modern enamel button which is very colourful and in a geometric design. In reality the colours are much richer. I think it may be from the 1970s but am not sure. It measures 2 cm. I also think it has been coated in gold.

This is a modern enamelled brass button which to me is very striking. It is domed and shows an orange/red flower which is complimented with lovely blues, greens and yellows making it very colourful. I think it is hollow and it has a small hole on each side. I guess it may have been made in Japan.

Here are two enamelled brass buttons both with a floral theme on a white background. One has lovely royal blue enamelling broken up by gold embossing. The other one has a scalloped edge. These type of buttons are fairly common.

These two enamel buttons are new. They are quite striking with the black and white enamelling on a white metal in a geometric design. They are rather good quality.

This enamel is a more recent acquisition to my collection. The colours of purple and green are rather pleasing and the fine spray of flowers show up nicely on the white ground. A lot of enamelled buttons have pink and blue flowers so it is a nice change.

This is a common type of enamel button with a floral design in pink and blue on a white background. It has a scalloped edge in gold and a brass loop shank. At 2 cm it is not very big.

Here is an enamel button with a Cut Steel border. It has a black background with a delicate floral design in pink and blue which stands out nicely. It measures 3 cm so is a good size.
