These gold buttons are glitzy and have many different designs. I think they come from the 1970’s and 80’s. I have these ones sewn on a banner but have many more in a box.

These two groups of buttons are metalized plastic in a gold colour.
They are various shapes and sizes. The range of patterns and designs never ceases to amaze me. They are from the 1990’s onwards.

Here we have two groups of silver metalized plastic buttons from the 1990’s onwards.
The designs are many and varied from floral, geometric and swirly patterns. I have gathered these buttons from opp shops over the years.
METALISED PLASTIC BUTTONS
These buttons have been coated with metal making them look like metal buttons where in actual fact they are plastic. They were popular in the 1950’s like those shown in the first picture which were made by Beutron. They all have a disc of plastic inset. The other two pictures show just the gold coloured buttons in various shapes and sizes.
