Here are some more pearlized plastic buttons with a scrolly cut out design.

I can see them on a nice blue cardigan maybe from the 1950’s.

These plastic buttons have been coated with a pearl coating which has been made from crushed fish scales.  It wears off in time but some of these are in quite good order.
