These three buttons are of painted tin. They all have a white background with a coloured design.

This little group of vegetable ivory buttons are quite plain and all small at 1 cm, the larger one nearly 1 1/2cm.
They clean up nicely. As mentioned before they are made from the corozzo nut from a palm tree in South America.
Here we have three modern braided buttons.
The red and navy ones are the same with a matching plastic disc in the centre. The black one has a velvet centre surrounded by a brass rim. They all have a black plastic back with the markings LPC 45 and measure just under 3 cm.
Here are two wooden buttons which have a floral design painted on them. They are both new having been bought in Malvern Button Shop recently.
