GLASS BUTTONS

All things buttons & more …
These two painted wooden buttons were bought new so the paintwork is in good order. One features a Flower Lady while the other is a couple in National Costume of some sort. Are they Welsh? Maybe Italian? I am not good at that!!!!
Here are two more Beutron Button Cards with plastic buttons. One card shows the price at one shilling and sixpence. The white buttons are boil tested before leaving the factory.
Here are just a few more Sandy Point Xmas photos. It was nice to see the different moods of the sea at different times of day; so fascinating. I love to see the birds too.
I have just spent a week over Christmas with my brother and his family down by the beach at Sandy Point in Southern Victoria. There were fifteen of us and we all had a great time. We saw lots of nice scenery at different hours of the day. We had some nice drives and walks. We did not have wi fi at our cottage so I have had a rest from my website. I am now home today and have got back into it. I hope you enjoy my small selection of photos as a memento of a pretty spot.
Here is a group of modern Metalized Plastic buttons. They are of various designs. The metal coating is wearing thin on one of them but it is a nice flower design.
This black glass button with gold lustre button is set into a brass cap with an unusual fixture attached. It may be some type of cuff link but I don’t really know. I got it in an opp shop in Yea a few days ago.
Here is a group of plastic buttons with discs of brass in the centre which have been pressed with a nice pattern.
While on holidays recently I was given this set of six Sterling Silver buttons depicting a lady playing a harp. They are hallmarked but I am unable to read the symbols. They are in a small silver box with the same picture on the lid.
