PLASTIC AND METAL BUTTONS

This group of Navy plastic buttons have a central disc of brass with a dotty pattern. I guess they are from about the 1950’s period.
BEUTRON CARDS
These two Beutron cards have plastic buttons from the late 1950’s. They state “They Boil – They Dry Clean and Hot Irons cannot hurt them.” Note the matching thread to sew them on with.

COMPUTERS !!!!
I still can’t figure out how to do a post how I want it! The pictures seem to go where they please and I can’t always get in a text. I will keep trying!!!

BLACK GLASS BUTTONS

Here are four small black glass buttons with silver lustre around the edge. They are quite pretty.
PRESSED PLASTIC BUTTONS

Here are three pressed plastic buttons from the 1930’s. They were in a container of buttons I acquired recently.
VEGETABLE IVORY BUTTONS

Just recently I was in an Opp shop in Drouin and the lady serving me offered me her jar of buttons which I collected the next day. These Vegetable Ivory buttons were amongst them. They are a nice natural colour and have a pin shank.
AUSTRIAN TINIES BUTTONS

Here are some more Austrian Tinies buttons with their fine workmanship. They should measure no more then 5/8ths of an inch and have a cup like japanned back with a loop shank.

These three buttons are the same design but in different colours.
