Here are two Buffed Celluloid buttons with the same bunch of grapes design only with a different colour. They have been painted and then rubbed back to reveal the cream colour and have a self shank.
PORCELAIN BUTTONS
Here are four handcrafted porcelain buttons made by Tracey Sharkey from Australia in 2007. They all have a floral theme and are quite pretty.
CERAMIC BUTTONS

Here are two Ceramic buttons depicting peacock feathers. They are very colourful and are glazed onto a terracotta ground. They are sew through type and measure 2 1/4 cm.
CELLULOID BACK BUTTONS
Here are two more Celluloid back buttons with browny/fawn celluloid. It is combined with metal which has been tinted purple ( quite an unusual combination ) They are both very nice buttons and as common with many celluloid buttons they have a Japanned back and a loop shank and measure 3 1/2cm.
CELLULOID BACK BUTTONS
These two Celluloid back buttons both have celluloid in a fawny/brown colour. They each have a very delicate metal decoration; one with a floral theme, the other in the form of a floral border. I feel they are both very nice buttons.
METAL BUTTON

Here is a painted tin button with a floral design in metallic paint in the centre. The decorative border finishes it off nicely. It measures 2 1/4 cm.
PLASTIC BUTTONS

Here are two pressed plastic buttons in a nice shade of blue. They are from the 1930’s – 40’s period and typical of that era.

Here is a square brass filigree button with quite a different design. It measures 2 cm and has a brass loop shank.

Here is a brass button with an intricate design and a royal blue tinted background. It looks sort of regal to me.
ART NOUVEAU BUTTON
Here is a nicely designed metal button with flowing lines typical of the Art Nouveau period. It features a flower with 3 cut steel and leaves and also has some paintwork giving it an overall great appearance. As can be seen on the back it has a metal loop shank.
