Here are some fabric covered buttons I believe made in Cambodia by the Khmer women. I guess the fabric is made in Cambodia too as it is quite different in colour and design. They have a tin back and shank and measure a little under 2 cm.
I have this button in 3 different colours and I like them all. This one is painted brass in a brown/taupe colour with a facetted black glass centre. There is just a small amount of gold scrolly work on the outside which gives the button a good look. As can be seen in the picture it is back marked.
