Happy New Year to all button lovers. May we enjoy playing with our button collections and hopefully find some new treasures along the way this year.
FABRIC BUTTONS
These fabric covered buttons were given to me by a friend. They were made in Cambodia and the money from them goes to help the local village women so it is a good cause. The fabrics remind me a little of Aboriginal designs and colours.
HEAD BUTTONS
Here are two completely different head buttons. One is white glass with a brass head in what I think is a Grecian style. It has a metal loop shank. The other is a more modern white metal realistic head button. To me it is sort of wierd in design and you wouldn’t call it beautiful.
