These three Ceramic buttons are sewing related and a realistic shape. They are bright and cheery colours and are purely novelty or craft buttons.

Here are three groups of modern plastic buttons that were made in Thailand. They all have some sparkly inclusions in them. I have got them from Opp shops in the last couple of years.

This is a pretty button but does not photograph well. It is of clear glass in the Art Nouveau style with a silver lustre floral pattern.

I like these two glass buttons as they are just a bit different. They are in the shape of Chinese Lanterns. One has some decoration while the other is plain. Orange is not a common button colour.

I believe that these buttons were made in Thailand. They are modern and made of some type of plastic each having some sparkly inclusions.

I have just made these two embroidered buttons. They are done on silk fabric and were just a bit of fun to do.

This button is made up of pressed brass centre with three doves pictured on it. It is set into a white metal rim, has a tin back and a metal loop shank. It measures 34 mm.

Here is an Applejuice Bakelite button in an octogen shape. It has been reverse carved and painted in gold in a leafy design which is rather effective. It measures 3 1/2cm and is a sew through type button.

These two buttons are of blue glass, one being a realistic leaf shape with a painted water lily. The other just has a circle of small flowers painted in the middle. They are quite pretty. As often is the case the paint work is a little worn.

Here is a heavy metal button with a brass open work floral design overlaid on the base. It also features three cut steels in the centre of the flowers and has a metal loop shank. It measures 3 cm.
