This Metal Picture button is quite decorative with a brass bird and floral branch on a wood background. It has a decorative border to complete the picture and measures 3 3/4 cm.

Here is a hand painted porcelain button featuring a couple. The details are so fine right down to the buttons on the gentleman’s coat. The border is of enamelled brass in blues and purples which is a great addition to the overall effect. It is a very decorative button.

This is a nicely designed metal button which has been tinted purple. It has a white metal escutcheon with scrolly lines and flowers in fine detail in the centre. It measures 3 1/2 cm and has a metal loop shank.

These three fabric covered buttons make a colourful display and are actually made from old doyleys. The embroidery shows up nicely and makes them unique. They measure 4 cm and are just a novelty.

These Porcelain buttons were handmade by Jennifer Warburton from Australia in 2012. They have a Japanese influence not only in the designs but also in the blue and white colours (similar to the popular Willow Pattern) I like their modern simplistic style.

This Metal Picture button is named Puto at the Fountain. It shows the cherub like figure with an umbrella at a fountain. The detail is quite fine down to the ivy leaves on the wall. It measures 3 1/2 cm and has a metal loop shank.

These two new buttons are of some type of plastic and of the same design on a different coloured background. They have a simple design of flowers and leaves and really look good when held up to the light.

Here is a Metal Picture button featuring a bird on a rail. It also has a pretty floral border around it. It measures 3 1/2 cm and has a japanned back with metal loop shank.

Here are two more new Coconut Shell buttons that are new to my collection. The designs are modern, one being multi coloured stripes and the other orange shapes on a black background. I find the modern Coconut Shell buttons fascinating in design and just a bit different.

These are two new Coconut Shell buttons which I bought in Benalla recently while on an outing. They have a geometric design lazer cut on them and have been dyed making the design stand out. They measure 3 cm in diameter.
