Here are two Beutron delights cards of plastic buttons. Their designs are very modern, one with a red theme, the other black and white. The red ones have a sort of Japanese look about them I think. They were made in Thailand and were bought in 2007.

Here is a pretty metalized plastic button with a plastic disc in the centre. It is painted with delicate pink and green in a floral design on a white ground and almost looks like fabric. The shank is of white plastic. It is a modern button.

Here is a striking bonnet designed button. It has a black enamelled brim and pearlized plastic crown. The gold bow just sets it off nicely. It measures 3 1/2cm so is quite large.

These five buttons come from the 2009 period. They imitate millefiori glass buttons and are set in a white metal cup with a loop shank. They measure 1 1/2 cm.

These three modern plastic buttons are very striking. Black and white always stands out well. They have a floral theme, one also having a butterfly. They are sew through type and are quite large at just under 3 1/2 cm.

Here is a rather nice brass button featuring strawberries. It is pierced in several places and looks quite realistic. It has a tin back and measures a little over 2 cm.

This card of buttons under the brand La Petite was bought for me in 2012 in USA by my friend Olwyn. They were made in Italy and are quite pretty with a pearly finish and a gold scrolly trim on the side.

Here is a rather unusual plastic button with a red background and highly domed shape. It is set in a metalized plastic outer and has a daffodil type floral ornamentation in gold.

Here are three Celluloid buttons in a lovely purple colour which is a bit different to the popular earthy colours of the day i.e. the 1930’s. They are four hole sew through type. The card is a reproduction and not relevant to the buttons.

Here is another Celluloid backed button in a tan colour. It has a metal disc in the centre resembling cut steels. It has a decorative border, japanned back and metal loop shank and measures 3 cm.
