I was given this button as a blank and inserted the piece of fabric and snapped in the clear plastic cover. My friend told me that it was called a Window Button. Just another type of button to add to all the others.

DISNEY BUTTONS
These buttons were made in Taiwan and China and packaged in USA for “Dress It Up” Buttons.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse are very popular Disney cartoon characters and there are three buttons in each pack all in a different pose. How cute are they! I bought them in 2016 and was thrilled to get them. They are of plastic in a snap together style. I have shown the back view of Mickey.
NEW BUTTONS ON ORIGINAL CARD
Made in China for Lincraft, I purchased this set of spotty wooden buttons in 2017. How colourful are they and wouldn’t they look great on the appropriate garment, probably something plain.
PASTE BUCKLES
How about some buckles for a change again. I do like them and like buttons they can be little works of art too.
Here are three Paste ( or small facetted pieces of glass set in metal ) buckles. How they would glimmer in the light of an evening event on a ball gown or the like especially on a plain rich fabric.
CUT STEEL BUTTON
Here is another filigree brass button with twelve cut steels attached. The central part has one larger cut steel. It is quite large at 3 1/2cm.
CELLULOID BUTTONS
No. 1 is a buff coloured Celluloid button with nine small decorative brass squares set in the middle.
No. 2 is another buff coloured button of pressed Celluloid with a fancy brass square in the centre.
Both of these buttons are just over 2 1/2 cm.
WHITE METAL BUTTONS
CUPID
At just under 4 cm this button appears to be silver although I can’t find a hallmark. The background is filigree flowers and leaves and is a good foil for the plain Cupid figure in the middle. Such lovely detail. It has a metal loop shank.
LADY
This button has a lovely “Cameo type” lady’s head on the central disc. It is capped off with a nice decorative border. It measures 3 1/2cm and also has a metal loop shank.
MODERN DOMED BUTTONS
No. 1 shows a lady dressed in 1930’s – 40’s dress and is nice and colourful.
No. 2 is in black and white featuring the rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland.”
No. 3 pictures a cat with a blue bow. I show a reverse picture also.
METAL AND WOOD BUTTON
This button is quite large at 3 1/2cm. It is brass with a wooden background behind the scrolly design. It has a japanned back with a metal loop shank.
BRASS BUTTONS
These two brass buttons are both in the Art Nouveau style and feature a lovely lady’s head.
One has an irregular shape and flowing lines around the edge. The circular one is a smaller button at a little over 2 cm but none the less still beautiful.
