This brass button has been tinted in a red colour. It has a maple leaf in the centre which stands out nicely.

Here is a small group of old plastic buttons displayed in a modern frame. They are varying shades of green and different sizes and make quite a nice display.

This is a button made of black horn. It is a Uniform button of The Royal Ulster Rifles 1920 – 1968. It features a harp and crown and has a brass loop shank.

Here are two wooden buttons that were painted by Ross Morgan in 2016. He is a local aboriginal artist. They measure 4 cm in diameter and are sew through buttons.

This is a realistic flower button made of carved bone. It is modern and probably made in Nepal. It is simple in it’s design and nicely carved.

Here are two plastic buttons made by Artid in London circa 1945. They are press moulded. One shows a Galleon ship and the other a Thai dancer.

This Celluloid button is effective with it’s centre of cream and brown checked pattern. It is set into a black border which offsets it nicely.

These button samples were made by Erinoid Ltd. from Stroud, Gloustershire, England. There are approximately 400 buttons in this folder and they are circa 1950’s. They are a type of plastic with varying colours and patterns.

This is a modern wooden button which has a dome shaped centre. It has a checked like border and is nice in it’s simplicity.

This is a small brass button with the background tinted blue. The floral design is in gold relief and stands out nicely. It is under 1 1/2cm.
